SSSI was founded in 1985 and has grown steadily based on its
experience and the breadth of services provided to its clients.
SSSI initially provided systems engineering services to technical
and government clients. Software quality assurance formed a substantial
part of those services, and shortly became an essential in the
company product mix.
As the needs of our clients grew, we
took on project management (PM) responsibilities and additional
capability was added. Technology-based PM services are now an
important part of our offerings to government and private sector
clients alike. Several projects are ongoing at any one time.
As our client's technical sophistication grew, they found
a requirement for training in the very tools they needed to perform
their jobs. Our customers needed a solid grounding in PC operation
and software technology. SSSI provided the training as an integrated
part of our systems services. Training has served as a vital
component of our offerings ever since and continues to be a solid
profit center for the company. We have expanded to offer desktop
application, programming environment, and web-based technology
training.
Based on our experience, SSSI later became an Internet service
provider, and offered hosting services to a wide variety of clients.
As our clients began to shift their focus, SSSI moved into web
development, and has maintained a position of leadership in the
field today. At same time, we kept up with client server and
database development technologies, and now deliver information
to customers in unique and exciting ways.
A new division, xpdient Inc. was recently formed to ensure
quality development and consistency in our three software products,
xpdoffice; an enterprise package for mid-size and larger
organizations; webZerve, and intraReady.
